HK Trip | Part 1: Lifestyle

In HK, there's so many different things to look at. Their environment is pretty good if you exclude the air pollution, which is apparently comparatively much better than many places. The best part of HK is their public transport.

First they have the MTR, which comes in intervals of 3 minutes, and during peak hour is 1 minute intervals! It's just so good compared to Sydney trains.
I also love the tram there, aka, 丁丁 (pronounced ding ding).
This form of transport is the oldest and slowest way of travelling in the center of Hong Kong. It only costs about HK$1 and it quite good ride for tourists and locals. It gives a olden day feel to your travelling.
Then there is the ferry called 輪, named Star Ferry, and this ferry goes through the waters between Kowloon Island, and Hong Kong Island.
There is also the Public Light bus, aka,小巴, and it's basically a mini version of the normal bus (hence the name being called 小巴 and "light"). It travels in little areas, in each suburb. Unlike the bus, which has a bus stop for the route, the light bus can sotp anywhere as long as it's in the bus route. So for example, you can call out, "Stopping at Jordan Street!" and the driver would raise their hand to show you that they've understood your words. Quite fun actually. I like shouting in the bus.
And in every country and city (I hope) you'll find the bus. Oh the old, hardy, and sometimes reliable bus, which you find it will fail on you when you have an exam first thing in the morning. So yea, nevertheless HK has also got buses which travel in a certain route, and no, you don't have a flexible way of choosing your own customized stop. So what you experience in Sydney, is the same as HK. Except, they have double decked buses, which is cool to sit on the top, right at the front and looking at HK from up high.
Then there's the light rail which is practically the same as the MTR, just much shorter.
So here's another few I'd like to show you..
